● Wound healing - Wound is created using SOP in deeply anaesthesised guinea pigs or rabbits or rats and then efficacy of the compound is screened using a reference product to compare the efficacy.

Wound with infections are also created as model. Burn wounds of various grades are also created and used for efficacy screening of new compounds in wound healing property. Proper and continuous care is taken to ensure that maximum possible support or pain is being relieved in the animals under this study.
